Michael Stephen Dennis has been immersed in the aviation industry, from an early age, and for the past fifteen (15) years has been directly involved in variety of aviation positions. Mr. Dennis has a distinctive combination of a general aviation industry knowledge and practical hands-on operating experience.

The breadth and depth of Michael’s experience has been in developing aviation projects in emerging markets around the globe. Since joining the ARG-INTL Team, Michael has lead projects in places such as: India, Latvia, Ukraine and Italy.

Michael has the ability to adapt to new and different environments and situations very quickly. Experienced in project management and collaboration, Michael work’s hand-in-hand with the ARG-INTL’s local partner and/or other project entities; with the singular vision of tackling highly complicated specialized aviation development projects in the shortest amount of time practicable.

Michael specializes in integrating top US/European FBO/MRO best practices, recommending and implementing standard operating procedures for discerning VIP clientele in emerging markets the world over. Leading projects in places where there is little, or no, concept of what an FBO/MRO is, from the viewpoint of a western FBO/MRO operating standards.

Michael’s specialties include: document management and production; market research and analysis; employee recruitment/placement; best practices training; airport/FBO/MRO master planning; project management; business planning and quantitative analysis; marketing strategy and promotion mix, to name a few.

Michael has a distinctive combination of a general aviation industry knowledge and practical hands-on experience; a proven ability to simplify complex organizational deficiencies and provide significant and gainful solutions. He is experienced in daily FBO operations management; specializing in minimum operating standards, organizational communication and aviation industry research. He has authored and co-authored a number of widely circulated business aviation articles.

Key achievements:

  • Experienced with the facility development and project planning for a Heliport and a flight training facility in New Delhi.
  • Integrated financial planning and analysis for complex FBO development in Istanbul, Turkey and Sardinia, Italy.
  • Lead Consultant in the design, development and construction of India’s first full-fledged General Aviation Terminal/Facility at Mumbai International Airport (BOM).
  • Assisted in the analysis and design of The Registry’s Aircraft Management System (AMS).
  • Designed and implemented internal FBO operating procedures to enable a higher level of customer service and more rapid response to customer requirements.

 

Professional Experience

May 2010 – Present

Vice President of International Operations, ARG-INTL Ltd., Miami, FL.

Principal charged with overseeing international aviation development projects in emerging markets across the globe. Mr. Dennis serves as a point of contact and liaison between ARG-INTL and the local partner/ client. Undertaking the tasks of: project management, research and data collection, drafting, collaborating and finalizing ARG-INTL deliverables. While simultaneously identifying and proposing new opportunities and potential projects in emerging markets to ARG-INTL Board of Directors.

February 2006 – May 2010

Director of International Business Development and Operational Support, ARG-INTL Ltd., Miami, FL.

Michael presided over ARG-INTL’s offices in New Delhi, India and Riga, Latvia and related business aviation development projects within these regions. Michael’s responsibilities include, but were not limited to: performing facility development and project planning for Heliport, Flight Training Facility and FBO; Lead Consultant in the design, development and construction of India’s first full-fledged General Aviation Terminal/Facility at Mumbai International Airport (BOM). Line Service Manager, Fort Lauderdale Jet Center (Sheltair), Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Michael held the position of Day Shift manager responsible for a team of 8 line service technicians and 4 air hostesses. His responsibilities included, but were not limited to: Management of transient ramp aircraft, supervising of all ramp activities, supervision and management of FBO Hangar Facilities.

Associate I, Aviation Resource Group International, Inc., Denver, CO./ Miami, FL.

Assisted professional staff on engagement related research and analysis. Designed, developed and produced both aggregate FBO industry data collection and analysis and project-specific research; assisted in the preparation and production of professional work-product and deliverables. Responsibilities included, but were not limited to: performing general aviation market research, assisting with the management and upkeep of the company’s extensive archive library, assisting in the final production of professional reports and files, as well as assisting senior consultants in completing client request.
